CLEVELAND, OH – Woodside Health is excited to announce its acquisition of Blake Park, a six-building medical and office property located at 1802-1894 59th Street West and 5939-5959 17th Avenue West in Bradenton, FL, just south of Tampa and part of the Sarasota MSA. The buildings total 55,517 square feet of leasable space, are 80% leased, and feature a current mix of seventeen tenants, thirteen of which are medical tenants.
The acquisition is Woodside's first in the Tampa/Sarasota market and fourth on Florida's Gulf Coast. Woodside is pursuing additional acquisitions in various Florida markets, which continue to experience tremendous growth.
"We've been targeting this sub-market and are excited to secure a foothold with Blake Park. The property is located directly adjacent to the HCA Florida Blake Hospital," said Ben Barr, Woodside Health Principal. "We have some exciting plans to enhance the property and look forward to working with each of the tenants into the future," he added.
This is the 47th acquisition for Woodside Health. The firm has medical and health related properties in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Ohio and Texas. Woodside Health remains an active buyer in the medical office building market and is currently under contract to acquire other properties.
